Mr. Flip
Da Boogie keep creatin' it.
A native of New Jersey, Flip's love of music was born and developed in the Bronx, New York. His cousin, who once had a record deal with Tommy Boy Records, taught him to rap when he was 12. After spending some years in Baltimore, Flip returned to the Bronx to join forces with his cousin as a part of a three-man hip-hop group. It was here where he perfected his craft. Unfortunately, the group did not find success and, ultimately, split up.
Years after the group broke up, while still on hiatus from creating music, Flip moved across the country to Los Angeles, where he eventually met world-renowned DJ/producer Osunlade through mutual friends in the house music scene.
At the very beginning of the Covid-19 lockdown Flip decided to start creating music again so he sent a text message to Osunlade asking if he wanted to experiment with making hip-house records. However, he had no intention of creating hip-house records in the same vein as they had already been done. This was going to be something different. Something groundbreaking. Something unlike anything else in existence. Next-level shit.
.You are now rockin’ with the best.
